My Tempest lost the 2N3792 in the low voltage power supply and it took out the corresponding cap in HV cage. Lines looked almost like an EKG. When I removed the cage, C902 was blown apart. Replace C901, C902 and C903.

How long since a cap kit?

P.S. the 6100_faq has info on various problems...

Is the high voltage cage missing?

I have a tempest which is working fine except that the lines shimmer noticeably.

I have adjusted bip / lin / x&Y size and center. Everything looks good but the lines are just not completely stable.

I am guessing something in the HV needs to be adjusted / replaced but I don’t want to just shotgun it.

      Suggestions?
