Hi All
I take it my last email with the pictures did not come through.

Here are some links to a set of photos.
G05-801 <http://www.gbrayton.com/G05-801.jpg>
G05-802 <http://www.gbrayton.com/G05-802.jpg>

These are 10 to 15 MB set of photos, should allow you to zoom in and see
some detail

The tag is really faded but it looks like it says 801 - maybe some one
can help identify it from the pictures.

The 801 was in an Asteroids and has some burn in.

The 802 has the blue overlay attached.
The overlay has some scratches in the middle and some tiny white paint
specks along the bottom.
But there is no sign of any cracks or splits in it.
I cannot see any burn in through the overlay.

I was hoping to get some input from the list about a value for these.
I'm not expecting to get rich but don't want to get taken advantage of
either.

I'm happy to provide any additional details or photos.

Shipping is not a problem, I ship stuff all the time.
I think I still have the factory cartons from my Sony Trinitron 21"
monitors. I can modify / supplement the packing inserts for sturdy and
secure shipping.
If not, I'll build 7/16" or 1/2" plywood shipping crate lined with thick
foam inserts before I would let them ship out in a flimsy box.

Vintage 1980 vector monitors don't exactly grow on trees and would be
packaged to arrive safely.

Ben

BTW Does everyone already have the 27 page service manual for these
monitors ? Schematics and PCB layout, parts lists, etc...
