Build my own little rig (with resistor). Worked great.

And I found out the reason I'm having

1) dimmer center (19v2000)
2) size bouncing

It's because one of the legs on the HV diode is broken off. I'm surprised it was working as well as it was! I suppose others have experienced this before…?
