Using a 6100 to test BW boards?

I have a heavily burned in 6100 that I use at my test bench. I normally use
my OScope when testing black and white boards but it is not a perfect
picture. So I figured I would just wire up an adapter to run the BW output
to the 6100. It is kicking the spot killer immediately. I only hooked up
green to the z channel.

Anyone done this? Any suggestions on getting it to work?
