Fast Recovery Diode Cross

Hi;
I'm working on a G05-801 and need a cross for the Varo VG-2X 2000V Fast Recovery rectifier located at D901 and D902. I found a replacement but it is a bit slower (recovery time).
The VG-2X is 250ns and the replacement is 300ns, could this be used in it's place or would there be an issue due to the slower recovery time??
