I replaced all 6 chassis transistors tonight with new mica insulators and white grease. Tbh the previous ones looked a bit ratty.

I can report back that the walling problem is virtually gone and the right x-wing gun now looks right and not crushed. I will adjust my x-centre tomorrow which should eliminate the problem completely.
