re: K6100 problem with HV section

Ok I believe I'm looking at the right stuff now.  I did not replace R913 since I couldn't find one locally but I did test it and it appears to be within tolerance.  Looking at the k6100 faq it gives some hints about what to do with a missing B+.  Most of the parts mentioned have already been replaced.  I have not replaced R904, R905, R906 but they all look shiny and new...like brand new so my guess is they are ok since the faq said to look to see if they are fried.  I checked both connectors and they seem fine.  I redid the solder on the main HV cage connector.

The only thing from the faq that hasn't been changed out other than those is Q900 which is a BU409.  Would that be a logical next step?  I don't know how to test to see if this is good.  Can this be tested just like any old transistor?

Since you typed ZD901 twice, I assume that the first instance was intended to be ZD900.  Since you replaced that already
as well as C909, and there's still no voltage at the 555, then replace R913.
