Oops...my mistake...I did mean for the TO-202 style :) .

So is the pin from the heat sink that solders to the G08 deflection board not for ground then?

No, don't connect the heatsinks. And make sure you get the right heatsink, the old MPSU style transistors were TO-202. On Oct 1, 2013 12:55 PM, "Jonathan Koolpe" <jkoolpe@hotmail.com> wrote:

I just picked up some G08 boards that I'm hoping to restore so I can get a second G08 I have back running...I know...a tall order! :)

One of the deflection boards is missing all of the TO-220 transistors for the P600 circuit. I have the NTE replacements at the ready, but no extras of the foil/heat-sink assembly that attach to these transistors. Is there a good source for replacements for these heat sinks?

And do they need to be grounded as I think they were in the original board configuration (as they were shaped such that they would fit over the metal top of the transistor and then the bottom could be soldered to the board directly via a hole that, once soldered, connected to a ground point)?

Thanks,

Jonathan
