Multiple Power Supplies Question...

Most switching power supplies used with JAMMA-based PCBs supply +5,
+12, and -5. I have a board that I am "JAMMA-tizing", but it also
requires -12 volts (and 3 amps worth, no less).

What is the "correct" way, if any, to connect multiple power supplies
together? For example, I would like to continue to use the switching
P/S that I have, and just add one that outputs -12 at the required
amperage. (I have been unable to find a single P/S with the required
outputs without spending way too much money.)

Is there anything in particular that I need to do to ensure correct
(and safe!) operation? Make sure they are both powered off of the same
AC line, connect the GNDs together, etc.? Sorry if this seems like a
na¸ve question...

   Peace!
