I just compared the schematics of the version that uses the 74LS151 8-1 muxes with the schematics of the board that uses the MB14241 ... I basically drew a big circle around the bit that looked different and was hence effectively inside the ASIC!

It uses 8 LS151s, 2 LS175's and 2 LS174's.

I'm thinking to build this IC on Altera EPM7064SLC44-10
using MAX+PLUS II BASELINE Software (http://www.altera.com/products/software/pld/products/max/sof-emax_baseline.html), but I have the daughter card ready to test, and it looks like beautifull ;)
