Re: How do I read a TI 18S42 with a Data I/O 29b/2b?

I would try reading it as a TI 28S42 first, use F/P code 13/09.
I can't find the 18S42 in my old TI data books and it's not
listed on the D I/O wall charts either. It seems to be a very
obscure part. Is there a date code stamped on it?

You're probably right about the 2B's revision being the last three
digits. Mine is 950-0086-006.

Good luck,
Dave
