Pat 9000 restore

Can anyone explain the purpose of the right side connectors on the Pat 9000? I have the manual and cannot find any pinouts for it in there. It only seems to have them for the front ZIF connectors. The front ones are called progam plugs the right side are called game interconnectors..an explanation of this would be handy! I have no leads or even know what they look like so it's hard for me to understand.

Thanks, Phil.
