Re: 9010a RS232 problem?

What operating system are you using? I had a great RS232 link for some years
with windows XP. With Vista I got problems similar to yours. I discovered
that FIDE does not work in Vista and the program was not compiling. Please
check that you have no error messages at the end of the compile stage. I
solved it by running FIDE in virtual machine XP.

Peter

Hi Kevin, make sure the RS232 card is firmly seated. I had issues which I
resolved by reseating it a bit more firmly and screwing it down tight.

Cheers,

Dan

It's not a pod problem, I can use the fluke normally w/o problem. I'm trying
to hook up the rs232 to a computer to upload scripts. It only resets after
hitting enter/yes after doing an Aux/if, read. while trying to send a script
to the fluke.

I've been trying to read up on the program to test the rs-232, but I've not
programed the fluke manually before, so It get's a little confusing manually
entering the program.

I have checked the power supply for problems etc when I first got it about 6
months ago.
