        This is a dynamic convergence problem, and you probably won't be
able to get it perfect.

        Double check the monitor manual, but dynamic convergence
adjustment usually involves tilting the yoke, and adding those
metal strips to the outside of the tube. The ring magnets are for
static convergence adjustment, which sounds OK on your monitor, if
the guns line up near the middle fo the screen.

        The sci.electronics.repair FAQ pretty much says that if you
can live with it, leave it.
