I did a non CAT-BOX test for Asteriods for the rate multipliers, using
the test picture and a frequency counter. I read the frequency on all
the ic's (well most of them) untill I found a difference on a good board
relative to the bad one. Turned out to be a bad ic was causing an
interesting distortion due to a bad bit inside.
