Re: Remanufacturing FAQ

Howdy,

It would seem to be in our (the collecting community) best interest to provide
as much assistance as possible in the areas of restoration. The more games
available, then, well, you do the math.

I'm working on a step-by-step guide to the restoration of a game. I started
using my Asteroids and documented everything I did. I took the whole game apart,
cleaned and painted, and re-assembed it.

I would love to be able to document side-art repair, CPO creation/installation,
and other such restoration topics.

I intend to expand this document as I work on other machines and get involved in
other aspects of restoration.

Would there be enough interest to create new PCB designs for deflection boards,
power supplies, etc.? If there are some already available, please post them and
I'll shut up... : )
