DON'T DO IT!

Hmmm...IMHO...a new list for FS is a waste.
I was not going to post about this, since this thread TRUELY is NON vector
related!
but...when I saw the suggestion for a new vector-fs-list suggestion...well,
I had to give my opinion.
What's the big deal here?
I mean, most folks here are intelligent. You don't see (using Clay <hi
buddy> as an example) him posting to this list a FS topic every day, or
multiple times a day for junk that is not somehow vector/vid related and
also has some rare value, do you???
How can a soldering iron *not* be related...tell me how you plan to fix
that PCB otherwise!?
Now...I can see a problem if say someone posts "soldering iron FS" every
stinking day to the list...that's just spam...but crap, we all know what
spam is. So, if folks on this list would just use COMMON SENSE, then the
occasional "FS unique item that i'm offering to all my fellow collector
types for a great deal/price" is entirely tolerable.
I don't mind.
I just don't want to see things like "FS 2716 eeproms", or some bullcrap
like that where the item is clearly readily available elsewhere, and for
good prices also.
Again, this is COMMON SENSE.
Finally, to whoever started this thread, you have added more noise to the
list today than Clay's FS post ever did (or will).
