I haven't taken the transistor out yet to check the insulator, but it has
obviously been replace before (smeared mess of heat sink compound all around
it) so it's a repeat problem. Is the transistor the normal cause of
problems or does it get fried by something else going wrong? Thanks for all
the help!!
