I really don't want to be the one to say this. I think what jeff is
hinting at, and what I've been thinking for sure is that the list
owners cause more noise than anyone. Now it's not that they post a lot
of crap, it's that they trigger threads like these where we all post
a bunch of crap. After the last mess, I thought they understood how
people want the list run, but I see now that they only care how THEY
want it run. "We'll allow commerce if it's a 'special deal' for list
subscribers (i.e. ME, and it must be something I care about)".

BTW, I don't think Neil was talking about starting a vectorcommerce
list at Synthcom to work in addition to this one. It seemed clear
to me that he wanted to start an alternative list where things ran
like they used to here - in other words he wants to overthrow this
little monarchy (BTW, which of you two is the Queen :-). This is just
my interpretation - I'm guessing here. But I'll be one of the first
to move.

BTW, how do I unsubscribe ??? This is just stupid.
