Hey everyone...

I've been having problems with a Space Duel (Still do), and have some $
being sent out for a replacement PCB. I know that one of the custom sound
(& DIP sw logic) chips is bad on mine (only get 1/2 of the test tones..) as
well as two of the ROMs. My ROM burner doesn't work with anything newer
than a '386, so I'm SOL burning a new set at home, even though I have a
literal bucketful of UV EPROMs I can use (or anyone else for that
matter...once I find the bucket again!).

The question here is this.. Since I'll have a supposed-working SD PCB and
my original non-working board, I can definitely do a comparison
trouble-shooting to find where the problem lies AFTER I visit a friend with
a burner and get a new set done...but the custom sound chip will still be
bad. Is there someone out there who knows of a replacement for this chip?
I'd like to get the original PCB back up 100%, and put that back in my SD
cab since it's in excellent condition.

Did Clay mention he's selling replacement AVG ASICs?? Does this still hold
true???

Thanks,

John
