Amplifone Tube - Save or Trash?

I have an Amplifone picture tube with a 1/2" burn hole in the middle.
I'm sure using it would prevent me from having children if I used it so
I'm going to get rid of it. Should I remove the yoke from it before I
get rid of it? Is there an on-line text on how to do this anywhere?
