I looked a little closer at the "gotchas" of ordering RSU parts (Radio Shack Unlimited---parts they have available but don't stock in store). "Standard" delivery begins at $2 up to a $10 order, then $3 for 10-20, $4 for 20-50, $5 for 50-100, etc.
Quantity price breaks don't seem to apply to RSU parts, pity, that would have been great.

Hmmm, shipping charges might not apply IF the part is shipped to the store instead of your home. That's something you would have to ask at the store. Also, for fastest service there is an additional $5 for second-day and $10 for overnight delivery.

As far as I can tell, RSU is mostly what TechAmerica was. TA now seems to be RadioShack.Com (yup, says so at the TA web site). Lots of interesting stuff there.
