Of course, we're talking about two entirely different levels of
modifications, here. I'd personally rather buy a vector monitor board
completely stuffed and working rather than try to build one myself. But
the mods to the Asteroids multigame won't be that extensive, and making a
board for something as tiny as this just doesn't seem like the right
solution.
