Testing Concerns

I have an untested Sega Color Vector monitor that I am wanting to test. I
have a working Space Fury and just want to verify that I would be safe in
just plugging the monitor in and testing, after cleaning and visual
inspection etc. I just don't want to somehow fry my Space Duel board.
Also, what about testing other boards? Possible to destroy the monitor? I
have a 200 MHz scope that I have no idea how to use, that I would love to
use to test these. Anyone in AZ want to have a tech party?

The reason I am wanting to do this test is that I have a Sit down Star Trek
machine that I will be selling as a project. It was converted to some Jamma
Game, but the art is in decent shape. I want to know if the monitor works,
as I am sure that adds to the value. I really wanted to do this project,
but I just have not had time and shockingly, I am out of room.

If there is anybody in the Phoenix area that is looking for a nice Sit Down
Star Trek let me know.

Oh, what was the final verdict on selling in V-list? Is it still as long as
a vector deal is in place that it is OK? I had to leave the list for a
while and missed the results, and don't know where the FAQ is.

Thanks,

John
