Richardson makes good picture tubes! I think you'll be pleasantly
surprised.

The yoke is the big hunk of wire wrapped around the neck of the picture
tube. It's probably held on with a hose clamp near the end of the neck.
You can loosen this with a nut driver. With the power OFF, of course, just
gently rock the entire yoke back and forth (clockwise, counter-clockwise)
until it finally comes loose. There might be some glue stuff here and there
that was applied in the past.

Be sure you note how the yoke was installed before you take it all apart.
That is, note where all the wires were positioned. It's easy to put it on
upside-down. This won't hurt anything, fortunately. If the picture appears
to be cockeyed, you can slowly rotate the yoke until the picture is aligned.
Then tighten the hose clamp.

You are now ready to throw grenade at the target. (over)
Warning -- it is important to remember that you have only 30 seconds to
perform this operation.
