YES it is worthwhile to keep them. Trying to find data on some old
parts is next to impossible. Even PartMiner has gaps in it's data.

But, that being said, you could ditch the 7400 stuff. That data is easy
enough to find. If you really want to get rid of the books, just put
them up on eBay.
