Good point!
Though nearly all the boards I've got with MB3712's or MB3713's on them
aren't heatsinked, it's often just poking straight out of the board.
Some of them have the part laying down on a heatsinked area, but I can't
remember one that actually had it bolted down or with heatsink paste.
Crappy bootleg boards mostly, lucky if the IC's are soldered in! :-)
If there is a heatsink area on the pcb it would be a good idea to get the same part
and lay it down right with a bolt and heatsink paste in place.
