hi all..
(G05-802/5)

This deflection board is doing my head in now.. it went from fully working
to blowing a fuse, then to lifeless spot killer on state. After testing most
of the spot killer stage and finding it appears to get 2 good signals to
sample, i gave up..

I removed the spot killer LED and replaced the fuse, and now i get a
picture, but its way off to the right hand side of the tube and is jumping
(horizontally) badly..

i scoped a few places (R702+R602) and the waveforms seemed to match up with
the pictures in the manual, but i'm not 100% sure as it was awkward to get
to.. something touched somethign else while i was handling the live monitor
and a spark flew off somewhere... panicking i thought i had fried somethign,
but i looked at the front of the screen and the picture had stabilised, no
jumping, but still offest greatly to one side, and there seems to be a
noticeable ripple on everythign now...

so anyway... has anyone seen this before, or knows what it might be?

for the record, everything but the deflection board is tested good with
other working deflection boards...

any help would be appreciated!!

thanks

Andy
