Lewis -- would you have anything on trans:

C5147
D 628

TO-220 case.

Everything I find crosses it to a NTE247, but that's a TO-3 and will not
fit. (It's for the neck board of my TV). The NTE247 spec shows a NPN trans,
100V 12 A with internal B-E resistors and C-E diode. From the list's
experience with the BU406D on the ampliphones, I'm guessing it's the
resistor/diode that makes it special, not that it needs to be so big.

What did you use to look up the maufacturer's code ?
