About the only thing that bunch have in common is being NPN! Here's how
they cross:

TIS98 NTE107
2SC2240 NTE90
TPS98 NTE194
2N4401 NTE85
2N3904 NTE85

Though, that being said, this in not a critical application. As long as
the part can take the voltage and current there shouldn't be a problem.
