I picked up a B&K HV probe on ebay a few years ago, i was in the $30 range as
I recall.. its nice to have the meter built in for setting 6100s, but
naturally it gets used for just discharging monitors most of the time.. at
any rate its a very handy thing to have around if you have more than a
handfull of monitors. I would say go with the standalone, its precise enough.
