I received several e-mails assking about the corrosion - it was ONLY
under where the sponge had been on the solder side of the board; as if the
adhesive from the sponge had caused it, or perhaps something the sponge had
absorbed - Perhaps salt air if the board came from a machine near a beach
location?? Has anybody noticed this on their boards that might still have the
old sponge on the back?
