Noticed a couple of other things. With no signal the beam doesn't go to
a spot in the centre of the screen - it does squiggle around the top
middle of the screen.
Q608 ( the 2n3716 under the cage that I accidentally shorted before )
it's replacement is getting noticeable warmer than the others.
