Tempest Boards

I don't know if its just me or everyone, but I have the hardest time
repairing Tempest's and SW.

Maybe someone with a bit more logged time on Tempest repair can help me
out.

    Here is what I have.

I have one complete working Tempest board so I check out the aux(smaller
pcb with Pokeys) pcb on the bad boardset and it works.

Problem is definetly on the main big PCB.

Roms are known good as I tested them on my working board.

Watch dog does not reset. Using oscope for display so I know that works.
Cpu is good tested that on the other boardset.

Displays a bit of junk then the dot just floats around a bit.

I think its in the Vector timing or that part of the circuit. Anyone
have a faq or known area that is problematic. I don't see any stuck high or
low pins anywhere and I find it hard to believe that both the X and Y dac's
and amps would be bad.

Thanks,

Fred
