Re: Vectorlist Archives broken...?

I've got just one thing to say about this:

Please please please, *ABSOLUTELY* strip or seriously munge
*all* of our email addresses out of the archives that are presented
on the web.
If you don't then the spam to all of us will be unbelievable.
Please contact me if you need more info on how to
munge an email address properly, but it's best to strip them anyway.

I absolutely hate spam (we filter 70+ a day here), and the only place
my 'real' non-public email address is on the web was in those bloody archives.
I asked David many times by email to strip out our email addresses but
got no reply from him.
I started getting spam on my real email address not long after
those archives went up with my non-public email address in it, and
now it can't be stopped.
By the time I started getting the spam on my non-public address it was
too late, though I did discover where they got it from, the vectorlist
archive presented with no anti-spam measures.

I started keeping mail on Feb 10 when it appeared there wasn't an archive. I
have a simple program that will make web pages from it. Anyone have the raw
mailbox file for further back ?
