First check to make sure the posistor is even there, and if so, check for
cold solder joints on the legs -- the posistor is a larger component and
tends to get knocked around (and even off) when mussing w/ the deflection
board.

Next, check to make sure that the degaussing coil is plugged into its
connector on the harness.
