Selling on here?

As a long time lurker on here, I am not sure just what is the policy with
offering for stuff for sale?

I have read the guidelines and agree we should tolerate the odd posting to
keep our interest going, but some seem to abuse the privilege. Since one
of the high-profile members, Clay Cowgill, got a roasting for offering
some genuinely useful stuff and has kept away since, while others seem to
go unnoticed...

Any chance of someone setting a balance?

PS: what about wanted ads too? - eg: I want a BZ upright control panel or
overlay !!!
