bzone and bzone2 roms - whats the diff

What is the difference between bzone and bzone2 roms. I dissassembled them
and it appeared the difference was in the area of displaying the high score
table during attract mode.

There is only one CPU rom different between the two sets in MAME.
bzone has 036414.01 and bzone2 has 036414a.01

Does anybody know if there are other differences?

Is one set more common or more preferred?
