for what itr's worth it is a deflexion fault.
i had this problem a very long time ago with a battlezone playing itself on the rear of the tube.
unfortunatly i was very new to this stuff then and the owner was impatient so i never found the fault :-(
for reference on a b/w monitor it looks like a blowtorch is inside the tube.
very strange when your new to this stuff and very confusing - i wasted a day checking the hv circuits. :-(
