An even handier (cheaper?) degaussing coil is an ordinary 40 Watt (+)
soldering 'gun'. These work great for that purpose, just wave them
around the picture tube - front/back and sides and you shall be
surprised at the result. Fun to do with the game turned on (no risk
to the tube unless you whack it!) - free colour show...
