Sounds like a problem with the linear scaling section, are you sure that test passes ok....smooth transition from big to small ( not steps)

I have a SW boardset that passes all self tests but when played it plays sort of choppy. When shots are fired from the tie fighters the shots will move in frames if that makes sense. When the tie fighters fly sometimes they appear to streatch. Also the towers on the death star are really jittery.
Got any ideas when might be doing this?
