Re: Tempest encoder bearings still available from Roy?

Were the ones from Roy significantly different (better/worse) than the $5 Tempest spinner rebuild kit that Philippe from Arcade Renovations sold? I know that Anthony from Quarter Arcade bought them out, but I don't see that part on their site. Perhaps someone could contact Anthony to see if he could offer those again. I got one of them and it works great in my Tempest.

I thought those were 1/4" nylon bushings originally. They are readily available if so - at least I have a pile of them in a parts box...

Hello, Roy Kaplan made some really great replacement bronze bearings years ago. I wondered if anyone knew if they were still available? Roy's old e-mail (chumblespuzz@home.com) seems to no longer work. I'm trying to restore a Tempest for a friend that has a serious "BRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......" Any help would be appreciated, Thnaks, Michael Kelley
