I've got a similar question about a WG6100 monitor. My Tempest's tube
has some burn + actual holes visible in the phosphors near the center,
and I'm getting kind of concerned that the electron beam will zap me in
the face! Time to replace the tube.

Is there any way to put a medium rez tube in this monitor to make the
vectors look sharper? If so, does anyone know a part number or a place
to order one?
