 Sorry if I sounded a little frustrated in my last post.Some of you asked what I've done so far. Well, I have been working on my machine on and off for about ten years. Though you may not remember, I have chatted with some of you over that time, even before this board existed. I have pored over the G08 FAQ, memorized the two-page foldout print in the manual, sought guidance from this board, replaced the caps, replaced the deflection xistors, resoldered joints, grounded the power supply, bought spare parts on eBay -- hell, I even bought an entire non-working GAME (an Asteroids conversion) and drove all the way to Ohio to get it. I have, like three board sets in various states of disarray.You have all been very kind and helpful, but I've simply decided I'm not enough of a technician to do it right. I've tried everything, but no amount of advice is going to improve my skills. Everytime I think I've fixed the problem, some new symptom shows up. (It doesn't help that I giv!

up for a year and when I come back to it I've forgotten where I am!) Besides, I've already let the smoke out of one Electrohome G08-003 monitor tube, and I don't want to deprive the world of another one.So, thank you all for your offers of help; I will be accepting them. Scott
