Current drain is in the low ma for HV used in monitors.

Not much to lose if they don't work, the HV would
obviously not work properly = no picture, and if
it does work, well then your problem is solved.
The only question is cost and fit. If they are
cheap enough it is worth the attempt if no better
substitutes can be found.
