GE RTV162 would probably work well to insulate a flyback repair. It's
rated for 450V/mil (~20kV/mm), white electrical grade RTV. Good all
around RTV IMO.

It's a little pricey, but I've got a lot on hand if you need some (we use
it at work, and I routinely get several tubes a year that are tossed out
because of shelf life).

As far as common RTV, clear would probably be best, followed by white.
Dark colors have colorants in them that range from mildly to very
conductive (when speaking of very high voltages, anyway). That's where
the "electrical grade" comes in with the RTV162 - low contaminants, very
low conductivity.
