74285 is a 4-bit binary multiplier. I found the pinouts here:

I assume the 74LS is the low power schottky version.

74LS285 / AM25LS15 is real enough - just rare as hell.
it's paired with a similar chip.

if there is a european source or a replacement in a gal i'd like to know!
