Picture tubes can be rebuilt  - try Video Display Corp or Hawkeye Picture Tubes. Don't know if it would be cost-effective though.

I’m assuming that the glass at the end of the tube must be cracked.

Did the glass actually crack and the vacuum go out?  If not, you may just be able to straighten the pins and apply some hot glue or epoxy to adhere the plastic back on.  Be very gentle doing this...
