Re: Star Trek sound problem

Hello everybody,

Anyone out there familiar with Sega architecture - particularly the
sound board in a Star Trek? I've got one that's misbehaving slightly.
When playing a synthesized tone, the tone doesn't decay properly - it
just keeps sustaining. Everything else sounds great. Here's an audio
example I recorded this afternoon.

If you listen carefully, you can hear it do the same thing when you dock
at a space station. Those sounds should decay, not keep going.

Hopefully this is just a cap I need to replace somewhere. Any ideas on
where to look?

(PLEASE no critiques of my gameplay based on this audio! You'd suck too
attempting to hold a laptop on the CP between your hands while you're
also trying to rotate a spinner!!!)

Cheers,
