Is it worth it ?

When the big transformer block died on my Pole Position, I replaced the
whole thing with a PC switcher, and one of these amps:

http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=129138

And the only reason I needed this one is the dual ARII setup in PP. For most
games you could use a switcher and the $9 mono version of this amp.

I should add that whatever went wrong in my transformer block, the isolation
transformer for the monitor still worked and I'm using. I bought a stand
alone isolation transformer to be able to pull it out completely, but never
installed it.
